The Reebok RL 900 Elliptical - Probably Your Best Bet!
For its very low price of under $900, the Reebok RL 900 elliptical is pretty amazing in terms of features. It may pose some problems in the incline because it would not adjust automatically; but in the overall performance, you will get your money’s worth when you buy this exercise machine. It has most of the features of the higher-priced models without the high price.
The foot pedals are a wee bit more comfortable than most models, although the pedals do not have the foot belt where you could just slip in your foot so you would not slip off the pedal; but more likely than not your feet would be clad in your favorite exercise rubber shoes so this should not be a big issue since the rubber soles would definitely afford the traction necessary to keep your feet from slipping off. If you think about it on these terms, you will agree that the foot belt is no longer a necessity.
Added value to your investment would be the presence of the drinking bottle holder and two small electric fans built-in and focused on you while you exercise. These are there and you may or may not use them, depending on your preference. Considering its low price, these are mere giveaways. You then ask how this Reebok RL 900 exercise machine could afford to have all those high-end features while keeping its price low and affordable?
Well, it could be that the target market is within a more profitable range than if it is sold at a price that has a large profit margin but would be unaffordable to most in the target market. Or it could be that, unlike the other companies that spend so much on market exposure, the marketers of the Reebok RL 900 ellipticals are not really spending so much on advertising the product to gain popularity, but are rather relying on word of mouth from satisfied customers (and this, to me, is the more reliable source of information on the product’s total performance). Or, it could be that the unit may be using cheap brittle plastic for its components that must be a more durable and hardier rubber – it may be for reasons of economics; and, it should be no big deal as long as it delivers the calorie burn, cardiovascular workout and total-body muscular toning that its brochure promises.
Look out, now, do not ignore and just include the Reebok RL 900 elliptical machine in your list of things-that-must-be-checked-out when you are deliberating on buying a single-unit total-exercise machine -- more popularly known as the elliptical trainer -- for your home.
